Tricks & Secrets to Minimizing Risks:

There are so many small tips that should be told, repeated and not forgotten. Here are some.
A) The 3 Global Golden Rules:
1. Never risk what you can't afford to lose.

2. DIVERSIFY DIVERSIFY DIVERSIFY. I will never be able to fully stress how important this rule is. Don't go all-in on just one Autosurf.

3. Get your earnings out as soon as possible.
B) Recommended research tools to better your Autosurfing decisions. I'm a regular at these sites and know many from here: HYIP Forum, AutosurfAuthority, MoneyMakerGroup, Talkgold, InvestDaddy, ProfitChecker, betterwhois
C) Be sure to have your OS (Windows, Linux), Mozilla Firefox (Internet Explorer isn't secure), Virus protection, Spy-ware protection all installed and updated. The last thing you need is for someone to install a key-logger on your computer and hack your passwords. The best protection is your own judgment. Be careful not to be fooled by fake downloads, emails, and sites.
D) Be careful of high-yield risky sites that only accept one processor, especially just E-Gold. It's a popular choice since fees are low but it's also a popular choice for scammers since transactions are irreversible.
E) The best time to join programs is 1-2 hours before 12am (according to the site's time). You can avoid being very unlucky in the event that the site died earlier that day. If all is likely well, you'll still be able to surf for that day and 1-2 hours later, go ahead and surf for the next day! That's two days of payment earned in a matter of 2 hours!
F) Don't start posting bad votes against a site if you haven't been paid on time. Give it a few days. I know you're worried but bad votes hurt the company, which also hurts your chance of receiving payment. On the flip side, try to vote each time you get paid.
G) Keep an eye out for sites that show monitoring stats. If the total Deposited amount is close to the total Withdrawn amount, you're smelling trouble.

That's the simple truth for most surfs. The rest are Scams. The term scam is used loosely anyways. Scams are a 2-Way Street. Usually it's the admin that runs off with the members' cash, but some members can too if there's an opportunity. For example, maybe a member finds and takes advantage of some kind of error or glitch in the script to get more money. Therefore, the program loses money and leeches that pain off onto other members. A good script is vital for a successful Autosurf. There are so many scammers all over the internet. You have to weigh how much trust you have in each site. To get technical, most Autosurfs state that they don't promise payments so when these programs announce that they can no longer pay, they aren't really scams. Admins that LIE and run are scammers.
With that said, what's so good about Paid-to-Surf then? It's much like the market and Texas Hold'em but with a better hand plus advertisement for your sites.
